During my recent trip to Traralgon, I was particularly eager to visit the Sir Paul Edmund de Strzelecki Monument, a site rich in local history and scenic beauty. I chose City Gardens Motel mainly for its close proximity to this landmark, and I was delighted to discover the excellent range of restaurants within walking distance. It was a pleasant surprise to find complimentary wireless Internet access, which made planning my day’s activities much easier. the motel offers relaxing walking trails and recreational facilities nearby, making it an ideal base for exploration.

A ground floor room would have been preferable, as the shower had a little bit of mould on the roof, and the lack of a window for ventilation in the bathroom was noticeable. the fan above the toilet section could definitely be stronger.

Fairly clean place with extraordinarily friendly staff members and street views. Comfortable bed in the standard queen room, plus a microwave oven, air conditioning, and an individual safe.

Convenient hotel, it has good service and handy location to the bus stop I was going to. Staff is extremely helpful and you can park your car onsite. The rooms are well-appointed and silent, the bed is very clean. The breakfast is hearty and the views of street are breathtaking. Totally recommended for an overnight stay.

The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the town center, which offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. the family room we booked online was comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the hearty breakfast, and the check-in process was friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly staff, they agreed to add an extra bed, and the night for 5 people was only 160 $ total, you can't beat that, especially with a clean room and good location. Recommended.

I found the room to be very clean, and it was great to have a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge, plus the location was fantastic. Very clean room, handy amenities like a microwave and fridge, and a perfect location near Memorial Park.

This place is comfortable and perfectly located just a short walk from the Heritage Walk, with a hearty and wonderful breakfast plus a great selection of goodies.
